GOAL: TO GIVE NONPROFIT HUB A VISUAL PRESENCE AMONG YOUNGER USERS AND OTHER NATIONAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

NONPROFIT HUB HAD UTILIZED TWITTER AS ITS MAIN SOCIAL PLATFORM FOR SEVERAL YEARS. WHEN I TOOK OVER AS SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST, I NOTICED A NEED FOR AN INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT AFTER WE MOVED OUT OF THE BASEMENT — not an actual basement, rather our parent company — AND INTO A 12,000 SQUARE FOOT COWORKING SPACE IN DOWNTOWN LINCOLN.

THESE POSTS ARE ALL CURATED OR OVERSEEN BY ME, FROM CONCEPT TO COPY AND PHOTO EXECUTIONS. as social media strategist, I manage a small team that have access to all of the nonprofit hub accounts. THE MAIN GOAL OF THE ACCOUNT IS TO PROMOTE THE LOCAL Nonprofit Hub SPACE AND THE NONPROFIT HUB MAGAZINE.

WHY I DID WHAT I DID:

  1. Millennials want to see the human side of startups and other companies or nonprofits they respect.
  2. I geek out over both sensational visual and delicious copy.
  3. Nonprofit Hub Magazine needs more exposure and promotion among a specific audience.
  4. Nonprofit Hub is as forward thinking as the minds that make Instagram the powerhouse that it is.
